Time stands still at Farm Medljan. Escaping to nature with family and friends reminds us how simple life can be. Here, authentic surroundings and good people come together to create something genuinely calming. Our family in Medljan offers the possibility to ride horses, warm accommodation and typical Istrian dishes already forgotten, with home-grown produce from our gardens. Let’s go back in time without the distractions of modern technology, let’s simplify our day!
ACCOMMODATION
Comfort in
the embrace of nature
Our accommodation is not ordinary. You won’t need an alarm clock, the donkeys and the rooster will make sure you don’t oversleep for the new day. The comfort and cleanliness exceed the rooms and apartments, but the accommodations are completely different. The rooms are furnished in a simple and modern style, while the apartments offer rustic comfort in an old renovated Istrian house.

CUISINE
Tastes of local tradition
We prepare typical Istrian dishes with local products following the recipes of our grandmother Justa’s recipe book. We have enhanced her secrets and traditional food preparation with modern skills. With authentic and simple cuisine, we honor our past and revive memories from our childhood. Along with good food we pour you a glass of local wine or homemade juice.
EQUESTRIANISM
Experience freedom on horseback
Many people know our farm from its long history of equestrianism. For over 30 years, beginners and advanced riders have been learning riding skills here. A riding instructor teaches the basis of dressage and guides those who are skilled in riding through our beautiful nature. We also offer show jumping and horse care in our stables. Guests are welcome to visit our farm and animals free of charge.

Discovering the nature on two wheels
Explore landscape parks, hidden corners, and historic towns by bike. Take a ride on Parenzana, a well-maintained 130 km-long cycling route, or choose from one of many marked paths suitable for both families and experienced cyclists. You can bring your own bike or let our experienced partners guide you on an unforgettable cycling tour through our beautiful Slovenian Istria.

Come and visit us!
We are here every day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm for tours, horse riding by prior arrangement, food is prepared for you on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Mondays we recharge our batteries and the farm is closed.
